Laptop is back and semi-functioning. Phew!
It’s been a horrible week, stressful and feeling as though bits of me were missing.
My paid-for AVG antivirus has disappeared, so I am going to be cautious on the internet until I’m protected again.
Now I have to re-install all documents and photographs from the flash dish, backed up at the end of February. March and 10 days of April are history, except for what I can re-constitute from the blog. I don’t have the heart to pick up on Napowrimo – this will be the first one I have missed, but at least I can read my internet friends’ poems.–
Unlooked-for panic
everything is unfamiliar
Word is lost again
The daisy is just to cheer me up

have a nice weekend
much love…

Daisies are very cheering! At least the news is half good, but it must be very frustrating.

It is a pity you are losing the fun of NaPoWriMo this year – why don’t you do some one-liner catchups similar to my fun and games (even though those were additional), and then carry on?

oh that’s awful! I’d better heed your words and back up all my pics pronto! Hope your weekend goes better!

I’ve checked the backup flash disk and the pictures are fine. I can’t chck the poems because Word is not yet re-installed – I can’t find the key, but the man in the shop will do it on Tuesday.

What thing to have to deal with. Do get your AV software going and get a good backup routine. Hang in there.

‘Yay’ to half success! Lucky you back up 🙂
‘Word is lost again’ sounds so sad, but pretty accurate.

Like spilling india ink all over the art labored over for days and days; before a photo was snapped.
Pleased to hear things are on the mend.

Sometimes I think I’ll dig out my fountain pen and ink again. At least they don’t let you down!

I’m breathing a little easier for you, V, and hoping this whole episode will soon be a dim memory.

If something like that happened to me, I can tell you my Six Word Saturday words would not be printable. 😦

So sorry to hear that, Viv! So disheartening when something like that happens. Here’s to a better April and May!
