Arthur’s Seat

 

Made 15+ years ago to protect a fragile settee from Jock’s work clothes, the dense large-stitch quilting has proved worth the labour, as this assymetric log cabin has survived hard wear and numerous washings.  Jock’s real name is Arthur, and he is a Scot.  Arthur’s Seat is an extinct volcano in Edinburgh, Scotland.  He is not yet extinct, and rumbles from time to time.!
