I had a lovely book from Sally for my birthday, of Northumberland wildlife. Jock took a fancy to a picture of one of the wild goats, and the result is his latest embroidery.
This is WONDERFUL … the textures and hues … it is so realistic … as if you could actually “pet it”!! 😀
And here is a link to the book: http://www.nwt.org.uk/news/2012/10/11/showcasing-wild-northumberland
that is fantastic. I have no skill with my hands; art, music…nothing. I am envious.
Wonderful work, brings it to life. So nice of you to share your patchwork cloth, Viv, it works well with the image.
Jock is a craftsman – and an artist.
Lovely. What’s the back ground cloth?
It’s a Moda Marble, cotton, a great favourite of mine which I grudgingly allowed him from my patchwork stash.
Shared on facebook! Sally
Brilliant, as always!
