Peace would be perfect wouldn’t it:)
Today was the coldest this winter in South East Spain… wind was biting but the sun behind glass scorching.
Well done these

Peace…all we have is hope; world accord its natural extension (or lead-in). And yes, pale is the new tan, at least for a while. Wonderful writes all. Thank you.

Two very serious and thoughtful pieces, and one for fun. Rather nice to realize that my pale winter skin is ‘en vogue!’

The 6 million dollar question. It will not come given the hidden agenda lurking in the minds of the negotiators! Great lines Viv!

Oh! I too wish for the peace to prevail. Nicely penned.
And I liked the last one the best. It has a kind of texture to it. 🙂

2014 was a pretty bad year. But sometimes I think we only see the worst of it because we read the news.

Of course will come, as specific geography, as temporal times; world peace, unfortunately is almost an oxymoron, like jumbo shrimp. I really like your last stanza, very strong; you certainly rocked this prompt; nice work.

Of course, “IT” will come; we all type too fast, & the fingers do not keep up with our poetic minds; just saying; smile.

Viv, I don’t know if peace will ever come. I fear it may not, but I continue to hope. I don’t know how we can ever have absence of conflict in this world. I look at past history and can’t imagine today is all that different. Sigh.

Right now peace seems like such a hopeless goal. When I lived in France there was a song: “Plus jamais, jamais la guerre!” It sure hasn’t been that way in our lifetimes, has it? Love the last one, too.

Peace and world accordance indeed and I love the contrast of colors in your closing collection…blue/bronze and pale skin… 🙂
