An unquilted top with Double Wedding Ring design centre. I forgot to take a picture of the heavily quilted finished quilt, given to a nephew for his wedding.
The laptop table made by Jock is standing on a folded patchwork design of ribbons made by me, which is on the dining table made by Jock with the chairs made by Jock with tapestries embroidered by Jock. I’m worn out just writing that!
One of my very first quilts, made from a sample pack of Liberty lawns. It’s very faded now.
a wonky rose made to swap with another quilter.
Square Dance was sold to a family from East Germany who saw it at a local exhibition

Thank you for following. The network expands. I had a quilting cousin here for the weekend, who I hadn’t seen for 3 years. The men got bored with our chatter, so the internet friends fill a void!

Your quilts are beautiful, Viv! I started quilting again after 30 years and my efforts feel very clumsy. But i am still enjoying it. Love your blog!

Thank you. I ‘ve given most of them away, as we have fewer beds since the move and most of the walls are full of Jock’s stuff.

I can’t wait to have walls of my own and art of my own on them again. Living in furnished rentals with all our things gone. I miss the art the most of all.

I sympathise, I was in rented and we were only allowed to put up tow pictures! We put some on sideboards and propped them against the walls as a way round it.

I hung more pictures this week on my own walls. ((Sigh)) How nice. 🙂

Your work is beautiful. I visited from Haiku Heights to your muse haiku and saw the quilt gallery on your banner and thought it said guilt gallery 🙂 …… what does that say about my curiosity ?

This one is absolutely NOT designed. I made it as random as I could, simply picking up the first piece to hand and finding a place for it.

ahh but randomness that looks designed is still an original design therefore still beautiful! Toot your horn, be proud of your unique and wonderful talent.

Woops! I thought you were commenting on Sally’s Sofa Cover, not the general lot – I will take a humble bow.

oh sorry too I got carried away looking at all, the one I loved the most, the double wedding ring the originality of placing the pattern just in the center was genius! i need to go back and look at Sally’s Sofa cover. 🙂
