It’s a fantastic word, isn’t it? As soon as it came into my inbox, I printed it out. I never thought of writing a poem to it, though 😉

How fun. I can’t wait to drop it in a conversation. Beautiful little word.

It does sound as though it should be in the dictionary, Viv, doesn’t it?

Nice word. I learned a new one the day: scop. A scop is a poet! >

Ooh. It could be a noun or a verb (to write poetry). A promising addition to my vocabulary.

Never come across it before, Viv, but it’s just busting to get into one of my sentences 🙂

I have a couple of new ones for you:
doovalacky (completely interchangeable with thingy, doodah or whatsit)
poofteenth (a very small amount, a whisper, a hair, a fraction)
Both are common Australian colloquialisms and personal favourites!

I love these very much and will note them for future use in a poem.
