I love all your quilts. I aspire to one day do nearly so well. 🙂

You do now, so don’t be over modest!

If you could see the quilt I am binding, you would not say that. It’s quite puckered and I refuse to take all the quilting out.I’ll just make a porch quilt out of it. 😦

It’s lovely to have a record of your work – I bet you were relieved when you saw the box of photos. The kimono is lovely – do you still wear it?

The one in the pic was commissioned after the lady saw my first attempt. The prototype is still my dressing gown, still the warmest thing to wear on chilly evenings. I’ve made several since, for other people.

I think Homage à Trenet is my favourite. Although if I was going to steal one, it would be the kimono! So happy you were able to reproduce some of these pics.

That one was a commission, for a lady in Periers. She saw the one I made for me and wanted me to copy it. Needless to say, they weren’t exactly the same.

My favourite is the blue one with squares set on point and pink squares in it too. Well saved; even if some of the photos are not the best, you now have a record again.

I’d forgotten a lot of the quilts – long sold or given away – so yes, I was wallowing in quilty memories!
