Scrappy Pineapple

Kate Chiconi hosts a monthly scrap quilt challenge here.  I’m very slow these days so this is as far as I’ve got with my current scrappy project: scrappy pineapple ready for embroidery

IMG_1219 I’m struggling to use the hoop (something I loathe) but perhaps practice will make perfect.

    Oh Viv, that piano key border is inspired! I can just see the butterfly design for the quilting, and that’ll look amazing too when it’s done. What a gorgeous job!

  4. It’s absolutely beautiful!!! You can’t rush things like that. It looks as though you are quilting the whole thing by hand?!!! That is a lot of work. I really like the pineapple pattern and the colors you used are happy.
