Oh Viv, that piano key border is inspired! I can just see the butterfly design for the quilting, and that’ll look amazing too when it’s done. What a gorgeous job!

Piano keys quite unintentional! I simply assembled all the leftover strips as they came to hand and cut the strips of strips into 10cm lengths. Truly scrappy!

It’s absolutely beautiful!!! You can’t rush things like that. It looks as though you are quilting the whole thing by hand?!!! That is a lot of work. I really like the pineapple pattern and the colors you used are happy.

At the moment I am embroidering the butterflies, and then will shadow quilt around them by hand.
