Scrappy Pineapple

Kate Chiconi hosts a monthly scrap quilt challenge here.  I’m very slow these days so this is as far as I’ve got with my current scrappy project: scrappy pineapple ready for embroidery

IMG_1219 I’m struggling to use the hoop (something I loathe) but perhaps practice will make perfect.

All poetry, prose and pictures posted here, except where otherwise stated, is my own, and may only be used elsewhere with my expressed permission. Please don't be inhibited from correcting my bloopers and making suggestions: Most of what I post here is instant, ill-considered and off-the-cuff, in serious need of editing.

Oh Viv, that piano key border is inspired! I can just see the butterfly design for the quilting, and that’ll look amazing too when it’s done. What a gorgeous job!

  3. Love that pattern.

  4. It’s absolutely beautiful!!! You can’t rush things like that. It looks as though you are quilting the whole thing by hand?!!! That is a lot of work. I really like the pineapple pattern and the colors you used are happy.
