Conception – the fun part
Life – the best part
Death – the hard part
Youth – love and laughter
Prime – adventure, love and laughter
Senescence – rest, reflection, love and laughter
Grabbed by the scruff, it’s all worth living
A prompt last week at dVerse to write a Sevenling proved a tad addictive, so here’s another one for Open Link Night.
Spring REALLY arrived yesterday – warm enough to have lunch and a nap on the patio, so I’m celebrating with a last view of next door’s
magnolia grandiflora before tomorrow’s expected gale tears it to shreds!
It really sounds like you are having fun with this type of verse, playing with it – delightful!

If you’re not having fun, you might as well stop playing and turn your toes up!

I really like your sevenling. I couldn’t help noticing, however, that you could use the end of L3 in L1 😉

Oh a sevenling we will go! 🙂 Singin’ your praises here. Yep — I definitely choose love and laugher at every stage of my life. Grabbin’ life by the scruff in my rejuvenatement period! Great post. Smiling I am!

Oh that zinger line! And this leads me to believe much laughter in the hereafter. Great sevenling.

Hmm. I would switch the descriptions for “Life” and “Death,” but I’m a weirdo.
I really like the last line.

This is just wonderful. I love the laughter in the second stanza and then, of course, the “zinger-line.:

Yup, and I’ve finished and attached the borders on my pineapple quilt so it’s ready for the butterfly embroidery to start.
The sky has clouded over and we’re battening down the hatches for a gale tomorrow!
