Togetherness, Wordle 246

We used to stand in a circle and talk
at the end of every working day,
telling those tall tales of hope
and making drippy jokes
reluctant to leave,
to stem the flow
that makes us
into a
team.

It was fun to see how few extra words I needed to use to make sense of the Wordle words, and some of those were there to form the shape. Not much of a poem, I admit! Do pop over to the Sunday Whirl, to see what others have done.

I haven’t tried one of those in ages. However I do remember working far from home and the natural conclusion to the working day was to meet up with my mates for a drink to unwind.
