Late today – other things to do

I‘d pinned the elements together for my pineapple quilt, but didn’t get round to stitching them until after lunch, so that I could take a photo.  Glaring faults show up but I think I can cope with those.  The next step is to add some wide borders to the long sides, to improve the proportions for a child’s bed, and then to mark the plain squares ready for hand quilting. I’ve acquired a  lovely butterfly stencil, and plan to quilt using a thickish teal-coloured thread.
