Wordle 243 – A Tribute

wordle 243

I want to tell you
about a blogging-quilting friend.
Born to cycle,
every day a journey,
no matter what the sky throws at her
she pedals around the country,
never standing still,
exerting all her energy
over stones and rough ground,
rise and fall of random path.
She finds in nature and atoms of beauty
a source of inspiration,
returning home dog-tired
but ready to create.

    Very eloquently told!
Actually, with the pleasure I still get from riding a mountain bike I’m surprised I wasn’t directed to that kind of cycle in my effort!

  4. What a lovely tribute to a fellow blogger/quilter. If I want for a bike ride, it would be the only thing done that day. 🙂 Fortunately, I’m not allowed on a bike anymore. 🙂

Whether it is art, writing or quilting for that matter we are all inspired in different ways, especially through our eyes as we absorb the world in all it’s facets around us. What a beautiful tribute this is.
