Spring has sprung

Spring has sprung 25.2.16

Delight spreads
over my weary spirit —
daffodil cheer

magnolia 25.2.16

Magnolia magnificence
adorns the sky—
makes me happy

And our neighbour has mowed his lawn.

  1. We are having spring too. I love spring, autumn and even winter. Summer, not so much. I should journey to Australia in summer. 🙂

Happy here too, though no magnolia yet 🙂 That blue sky is worth money, isn’t it, Viv? (though we’re back to grey here again today, the daffs are out and I have high hopes)

It’s our first day under 30C for weeks, I have all doors and windows open instead of tightly closed to keep the heat OUT and the aircon IN. Thanks to the rain we’ve been having, the grass was knee high before the Husband got the ride on mower out yesterday, but we’re tidy again. Roll on winter, I say (it officially starts on Tuesday!). I can almost smell that daffodil, such a gorgeous shouty yellow, and the magnolia is magnificent, such a fabulous display of big fat buds 🙂

    Oh, look at that magnolia!

Yes, it’s time to start mowing the grass again – there’s always a downside 😦 Not that I do it 😉

  7. The crocuses are springing up all over here, as well as the daffodils. And it’s a gorgeous day.
