O be joyful in the Lord all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness and come before his presence with a song

Miz Quickly wants us to write a joyful poem.  I am unable to improve on Psalm 100, but am obliged to try.

sunrise 17116

Wake to the sunrise
celebrate colour and calm ─
begin each day well

This is the only time of year I can manage (occasionally) to wake to the sunrise – usually worth it, since red sky in the morning means shepherd’s warning and we’ve had plenty of rain! Love your photo and poem, too. Amen!
