A little more scrappy quilt progress

Progress has been slow on Annette’s Table Topper, as life got in the way this week.  One of the interruptions has been a mammoth tidy up for a photographer (the house is to be sold, but we remain as sitting tenants)Annette's table-topper in tidy workroom

and progress so far with the quilting
Annete's table topper half quilted annette's table topper centre I tried it in situ, chez the recipient,  where it is to cover a chest of drawers and there’s just room for the binding so I’ve abandoned the idea of a border.

  3. Your work room looks great….but very non creative that way! I spent a comfortable and welcome might in that bed when you and Jock rescued me from the dark.

  6. Very impressive. I always like to start with a clean room too. It lasts for a day. 🙂 The quilt is looking lovely.

I’m so pleased you’ve gone with the black sashing strips, it’s beautiful like that, a stained glass effect. Lovely hand quilting too – you’re making excellent progress! I don’t suppose that unnatural tidiness will last…
