Miz Quickly is ferhoodling*
me with incomprehensible
prompts.
De at dVerse is enjamb-
ing wildly,
suggesting we play with
hyphens and strange
poetic line-
ation.
Although I write
poetry mostly
for fun
I think I’ll give
these two a miss
and write something formal
with esoteric words
and recondite principles.
On second
thoughts…..
*ferhoodle (v) to confuse or mix up.

Well, for not being fond of the prompt, you achieved it. Good for you!

“poetic line-
ation.” is the (plu)perfect definition for enjambment

Some of your line breaks are inspired. I’m not overly keen on hyphens, although it was a fun exercise.

Another new word you’ve introduced me to – one I could probably use very often as I often ferhoodle these days.
