Final poem for Octpowrimo written. Phew!
This month of writing a poem every day to prompts seemed interminable at the beginning, but fortunately time has speeded up towards the end. September and October have seen some glorious weather, which helps with poetic inspiration, but the biggest help has been from excellent prompts from Morgan Dragonwillow, aided by Bev and Tamara – thank you all.

Hibernation beckons
with thoughts of cozy fireside —
to be resisted
The journey isn’t ending
new challenges come —
to conceive more poetry.
perfect ending to a month of poeming

It’s been a gorgeous autumn down here too Viv. We were just saying the other day that the colours have been exceptionally beautiful this month.

Oh dear, the thought of a cozy fireside right now is to be avoided at all costs! It’s very hot, very humid and very windy here, heavy black clouds sailing overhead without dropping their much needed load. I even hung out laundry to make it rain, but to no avail… Congratulations on attaining the end of the month triumphant!

Thanks Kate. It’s another beautiful day here today, but on the chilly side.

Have you tried washing the car Kate – that always works for me 😉

No, that’s the Husband’s job, he puts it through the truck wash at work – it takes no time at all. In the past, putting laundry out has worked like a dream, but no longer…
