HAPPINESS for Octpo 19

Happiness…
…is taking a newly baked loaf from the oven
…is soaking up the aroma
…is tearing off a corner,  slathering it with butter
…and scrunching on the crust
…is an unexpected visit from friends
…is champagne on the terrace
…is blue sky and warm sunshine

 

unexpected visitorsBlogging friend Joss and her husband Gerard dropped in from Canada

…is the arrival of a fully fledged poem in the night
…and launching it on the world

    I love that picture of the two of us, especially because it reflects how truly lovely it was to spend time with you and Jock. I miss you both.
