My first attempt for dVerse Haibun Monday diverted  from the classical recipe, so I had another go.

Stormy morning, 29.12.12 from my bedroom.

Stormy morning, 29.12.12 from my bedroom.

The distant past drifts by, circling as I plod the moody land towards the angry sea. I ponder the consequence of our occupation of this planet.  Tread lightly on the earth, let grudges go and live today with gusto but be mindful of tomorrow.  What we do now impacts the future lives of our descendants

Floods in winter
arid heat in summer
climate change our doing

There’s lots to ponder about our occupation of this planet that’s for sure. I like to think it’s not all bad…
