Next week I have something to look forward to: the long-awaited re-visit of my study buddy-cum blogging friend Linda Cosgriff alias Tillybud of Laughing Housewife fame.
We have no spare bedroom, so my workroom has been skilfully re-jigged by Jock who has wonderful spatial awareness. I hadn’t been able to imagine how it could be done!
Being all out of poetic inspiration, I decided to attack the ever-growing piles of scraps, in the chaotic end of my already disorganized workroom. The fabric frenzy begins.
I have no idea what it will turn out to be, but I reckon it’ll be pretty bright.
The first two blocks
I hope you have a brilliant time when your friend comes to visit and it gave you a great excuse to make some beautiful blocks.

It’s going to be wonderful. That’s what I should be doing or would like to be doing. But I’m here and not out there putting stain on fences. I’ll be thinking of your scraps as I get back to it. I was going to have a guest room. Seems I have a more permanent guest for now. 🙂

Brings the phrase getting scrap-y to a whole new meaning, Viv! I love that you bring sense out of no-sense with your bits and pieces. 🙂

Looks like a good bit of fun! 🙂 Say hi to Tilly for me. Our paths never cross these days but I’m sure she’ll put a smile on your face.

How exciting, a Tilly Bud visit, I’m envious, I have missed her wonderful posts. Your newest project will be as lovely if not more as all of your others. I especially loved the quilted bag you made recently. 😀

I do like those saturated reds! Looks like your creativity is enjoying a brief change of scenery. I don’t know where mine has wandered off to. 👣
