Our neighbours bought a sun canopy

last month, and we’ve hardly seen the sun since!   My son and grandson are here for the weekend and we were hoping for some  kite flying on the beach, but the forecast is not good.

Bliss on a cold wet Sunday We’re more likely to be looking at this.

Sun burnt bodies at work today!
Not mine I hasten to add as I remembered the sun cream this morning and was wearing a hat. No wind for kite flying though. Managed to get some great photos of flowers for a project I am working on. Have a great time with the boys. Sally

Yep. Ick. We had frost / freeze warnings Thursday night. Had to wear a light jacket today. Brrrr for late May.

  3. Murphy’s Law. Buy a sun canopy and rid yourself of the sun. It will be here soon enough. We are working fast and furious here to beat the heat. By next Wednesday, We will be melting. Today, I have on warm and cozies. It’s getting to change your clothes several times a day weather. 🙂

  5. You have definitely had more than your fair share of rain. Perhaps your neighbours should return their sun canopy to the shop. 😉
