A Vegetable etheree

This one’s for the PAD prompt for Day 5

In the marrow of my bones I wish
I could recover the strength
to grow potatoes
runner beans
beetroot
carrots
peas.
Shop-bought vegetables
are rarely as fresh,
full of noxious
chemicals.

I wish.

I wish I could dig for victory too! Viv, My blog hosting company is having a problem at the moment and I am unable to reply to your comment right now. I did add an update to the post with a graphic of all things weights and measures. Feel free to right click and then ‘save as’ to your own computer/laptop. Hopes it helps!

Well said, Viv. We were only saying earlier today that we will stop buying some veg altogether – some of them just taste too much of chemicals.
