Blankety-blank laptop refuses to boot up

so I am typing on the old one which is corrupt and slower than a sleeping tortoise with a broken leg!  A visit to the long-suffering young man in town is called for.

    Maybe you should try a boot-up with a rugby one? Maybe not – modern technology is not as accommodating to being fixed by a good bash as some of the old stuff was.
