Courtship – wordle 205

A blackbird exists to sing his joy –
his call for all to listen,

Repair the soul from blues to bliss
add a frame to every day.

His craft will turn back wretchedness
to chance of ecstasy

for nondescript brown female bird
waiting for a mate.

Brenda’s Suday Whirl will be absent for a few weeks, and will be greatly missed.   Do make the most of this last Wordle  by visiting to read    everyone’s contributions.  Thanks are due to Brenda for all the effort she puts into the site:  she deserves a rest!

Their song is so beautiful and they are so assured. However I have to agree with their poor nesting choices often choosing nesting sites just a short way off the ground.

Love it – so tight and compact. And “blues to bliss” is my favorite bit.

Sunday’s Whirligig is available to help “fill in the gaps” created by Brenda’s three-month absence from The Sunday Whirl. I hope you’ll consider joining in the whirling fun. Check it out!

There is such a determined optimism to this….it is utterly captivating. My favorite line (though hard to choose only one) is, “His craft will turn back wretchedness to chance of ecstasy” as that just sounds so divine!
