Miz Quickly gave us a couple of quotes to spur us into (poetic) action. Here is what they did to me. The first line is by William Blake and the third line is by Henry Fielding. The rest is mine own!
I give you the end of a golden string
to follow along until you find Spring,
when all Nature wears one universal grin
and people do the daftest things
for joy at liberation
and fling
away hats
and scarves
and hotpots
that warmed us.
through the doleful grim
of winter
Oh.. play of liGht
iN child’s eYes
need not
die
when
i frees I..:)

I felt just like that the other day… and then today the winds were cold again… love how you used the lines to create your own.

I like this, there is true joy in “Le Printemps” when the world is mud-luscious and crocus and daffodils sing. I love the upliftingness of the entire piece. Thank you!
