A perfect week: summer still here
My walk around the village yesterday morning was delightful
I was waylaid twice by witches and ghosts on my way to the shop for sweeties to give out to trick or treaters, and had to ask them to call again later. Later turned out to be a constant stream of costumed creatures carrying buckets, all accompanied by embarrassed mothers. Jock had to go for more supplies!

A fellow sunshine stroller! There are advantages to living high up in a loft apartment – the revelers can’t be bothered with all my steps!

Autumn has finally come to Texas. It generally does for the trick or treaters.
Viv, you needed to be carrying a big bucket on your walk. Surely you would have impressed those you met enough for a piece or two of candy.

All the leaves have gone. I can see my neighbor’s house. Far as we are from the village, we get no trick-or-treaters.

We had a lovely warm day here too – but I was in the car for most of it, which is a shame.
