The OctpoWriPo prompt today, Better Late than Never, gives us the opportunity for mockery. Sorry, Morgan.
Untimely warm and windy weather
discombobulated our host.
She forgot to do
what she should have done
and regretted it the most.
The rest of us forgave her
and rushed to enjoy the break
with fun and games to fill the gap
but now it is too late –
the prompt arrived at last
with hasty poems to make.
We more slothful poets would have just blown it off altogether.

You are doing so well with keeping up with the daily write, Viv. Congrats. To read The Sin of His Father chapter you need to scroll down. I’ll go to the website now and clarity that. Thanks.

Sometimes the opportunity for light-hearted mockery is just too good to pass up. I always get a chuckle if I’m the target of such cleverness, especially if it involves such a fine poem as this!
