When Women Laugh

Friends who’ve never met,
a virtual life support system
through thick and thin
of online courses,
come face to face in a distant town
and hug
and laugh
and giggle
Do you remember whens
punctuate and stimulate
more laughter.
On the spot
virtual morphs,
becomes real lifelong friendship.

The lifelong friend can be found here. and the prompt with its collection of images to be used in a poem here

I wish we could have visited our virtual friend Viv. I feel se, you Viv, and we, Mrs. Jim, have a lot in common. Mrs. Jim is sleeping right now, her first full day in the rehab center after her hip surgery on Monday. Her Facebook friends are tremendous as are her church friends. I just finished talking on the phone with one of hers.
