The End

Last Poem Last Day Napo 30 Elizabeth’s word lists

A Tiger Named Pain

Mesmerised by the voracious consumption of words during April,
stunned in admiration by the beauty and wit of the participants’ offerings
Apollo, God of poetry, music and medicine. speaks to halt the outflow:

Enough is enough, he cries
The drug of habitual writing needs a space, grace,
time to rest on the breeze, relax in silence, seek renewal.
My bidding is to  stop, finish, desist.  NaPoWriMo is at an end.
