I’m all wordled out
from Elizabeth’s lists,
Brenda’s Sunday Whirls
and We Write Poems mammoth ones
Now Miz Quickly’s getting in on the act.
I’m going on strike,
using words of my own –
just a few of them –
from here on in.
Monday’s moon from my bedroom window
HAIKU
We missed the blood moon
Monday – or was it Tuesday?
thanks to Googling.

themselves or silence will reign.
Thirteen days to go.
Viv, what’s with that subversive password thing. Is that the post? Am I missing something? Or is it that I’m just not subversive?

First of all, I love that photo, the colors are incredible, so soft and soothing. I have tried, on many occasions to do what you have done here, short verses that all line up, tell a story, and make sense. Mine always go astray and refuse to play. So brava! And I agree, we don’t need the prompts. It just sounded like a good idea back there at the beginning.

It was, and still is. At the beginning your words were like a rainstorm in a drought, just what I needed to get me going again. Now, even that doesn’t work.

I did get to see the blood moon. (one of the benefits of insomnia) It was impressive. It was 12:45 AM the 15th Pacific Daylight Time. As I understand it wasn’t visible everywhere.

I’m glad you saw it. The confliction of Google was that they mixed up when it would be in America and when in Europe, and we couldn’t work out which was which.

Once again I find myself in agreement, Viv. You really don’t need these prompts 🙂

I’m also only partially utilizing prompts, V; am relying on my own inspiration at least half the time.
Re the eclipse: it was a moot point , here; nothing but unclear skies the whole time.

I am so glad to know that we are not the only ones. We Googled for the info, and thought we knew when it would happen — and nothing. Slept through, missed it, didnt happen, whatever …. I was very disappointed not to see it though.
