The Kiss

A puff of air fluffs onto my face,
wafts a hint of mint towards me.
The soft moist touch of skin
flickers across my eyelids,
creeps down my cheeks.
dots little pecks on the way.
Firm pressure parts my lips
thought stops,
sensation takes over.

Meeting the Bar at dVerse Poets’ Pub is asking us to write without using our eyes, concentrate on other sens.  This was VERY difficult!

The gentleness is overpowering, seductive, leading to the heat, when touch intensifies, when mind fog rolls in, when eros begin to steer the ship.

  12. It certainly didn’t read like it was difficult. One thing I noticed (that I often overlook) was the most effective use of internal rhyme.
