I shall be missing from here until Monday – this morning I saw the cardiologist, and have to go back to the hospital this afternoon to have a pacemaker fitted. I just came home to pack and get enough books onto my Kindle to keep me occupied.

Home now, and thanks for the prayers. Surgeon said it went “super bien”. I shall be in and out for stitches and dressings plus checks on the machinery, but with a bit of luck and a fair wind I shall be free of problems soon.
