Anticlimax

Trifecta sets us quite a challenge this week:  exactly 33 words on love gone wrong WITHOUT using the words:  love, sad, tears, wept, heart, pain

Remember that initial buzz,
the sparkle putting a glow on life
on meeting your special person?

Remember then the grief
that turns your life to grey
when he spurns you, turns you loose.

I loved “turns your life to grey” and turns you loose. So evocative. Excellent!

  2. I love ‘turns you loose’. Makes me think of tornadoes or wild animals. Nicely done.

I love pieces that all readers can relate to. I’m willing to bet most people remember both of these moments. Beautifully written, Viv.
