Sleep senryu

Elusive quarry
or unwanted intruder
by night or by day.

If there’s something I want to watch on TV, I can’t stop my eyes from closing, but at 4.00 last night, with nothing to do, I was wide awake and stayed that way.  That’s when my Kindle came in handy.

All poetry, prose and pictures posted here, except where otherwise stated, is my own, and may only be used elsewhere with my expressed permission. Please don't be inhibited from correcting my bloopers and making suggestions: Most of what I post here is instant, ill-considered and off-the-cuff, in serious need of editing.

Like mother like daughter but I actually slept through to the alarm this morning when I should have been up getting things done as I fell asleep in front of the telly last night! Sally
