Where is Hope? Wordle 137

wordle 137

In a world of conflict, forces face crisis,
fire in indiscriminate fury on ‘enemy’ and innocent folk..
Borders of neighbouring countries crawl with fleeing refugees
on the road towards they know not what,
their future in a melting pot
depending on the word of high-ups
for the right to enter, or not, towards
a new life of homelessness, suffering and uncertainty,
the last state as bad – or worse – than the first.
The plight of the dispossessed is an unsolvable issue
thanks to greed and duplicity trouncing justice.
