Happy Birthday Mum.
Three amateur attempts at Limericks from the Hutts to celebrate:
There is a great blogger called Viv
who went off to France to live.
As it’s the day of her birth,
celebrate on this earth
as she still has so much to give.

In Notre Dame de Cenilly
it became very misty and chilly.
A poetry blog
got spilt in the fog
and the words became very silly.
(c) Duncan Hutt
Oh what a brilliant Mum
who gave birth to a girl and a son.
This girl is quite grateful
as we were such a plateful
but you provided us all with such fun.
(c) Sally and Fraser Hutt
For the lovely Viv’s birthday:
Viv went to France
to teach frogs how to dance.
They came in great numbers
to learn tango and rumbas.
So, now through her village, bereted
they pirouette, sashay and prance.

That is such a typical response, Sally, isn’t it? Bet you’re wishing you were together again. Joining you in birthday wishes 🙂

Thank you, three Hutts, for leaving your comfort zone and entering my world of poetry with such pizzazz.
My cheeks are suffused with tears
of emotion, sheer pride and laughter
at such talent I spawned.
This old lady so thrawn
thanks Fraser, Duncan and daughter. (pronounced dafter)
