The last gasp of Haiku Heights

Haiku Heights is closing down, and the final prompt is “thanks”.  So often have I been devoid of inspiration  and the posting of a haiku prompt has saved my bacon, so my thanks for all the hard work that goes into maintaining such a prompt site are heartfelt.

reconnaissance is
French for gratitude
for haiku prompting

so I have to say
thanks for the inspiration
of Heights of Haiku

Viv, I thank you for the lovely thoughts you’ve shared with HH over the years. Reading yours, and a few others, the feeling of sadness I’ve been having at the decision of closing down became more. I don’t think I’m ready to close down and let go just yet. Thank you for the support.
