Love is

for octpowrimo day 8

Love is like hiccups –
sometimes you have it fiercely,
it shakes you up

or love arrives
creeps in slowly.

Sip it
from the wrong side
love stops short.

Grasp it
squeeze every last shred
and return it.

Once you have love
you want more and more
for people, for life.
