Wordle 128 – The Dance of Death

The Dance of Death

Unbidden ghosts on the hillside
celebrate ongoing history,
perform the dance of their lives;
The swarm spills over the edges
with sharp kicks and flicks and whirls,
The jive gathers momentum until
on the exact stroke of midnight
the dance stops dead, petrified,
to remain a forever stone memory,
an unexplained focus of worship,
where the ghosts are laid to rest.

    Prancing ghosts have their day and to later laid to rest. It gives a feel of friendly and happy ghosts where youngsters are not afraid to bother with. Nicely Viv!

    Lovely! Makes me think of that haunted mansion in Disneyland. Have you ever been there Viv? I love how you enter scared and before you know it, you’re surrounded by happy dancing ghosts until you have to ascend to the real world again. 🙂

    Perhaps all our ghosts can be laid to rest at midnight. That would be good.
