Yet more ripples

seascape haiga

That Haiku Heights Ripple prompt won’t leave me alone.  These  words are superimposed on a seascape quilt I made many years ago and sold at an exhibition.  The only picture I have of it is scanned from a pre-digital snap.  The piece was entitled “Homage à Trenet” in honour of his song “La Mer, qu’on voit danser” (the sea that dances)

All poetry, prose and pictures posted here, except where otherwise stated, is my own, and may only be used elsewhere with my expressed permission. Please don't be inhibited from correcting my bloopers and making suggestions: Most of what I post here is instant, ill-considered and off-the-cuff, in serious need of editing.

  1. Whoa…watch out if I ever get to Normandie…that quilt is likely to go missing. Just breath-taking.
