Northumberlandia

A while back, I posted a link to this fabulous ginormous sculpture being created on the site of an opencast mine in Northumberland – http://huttsatwork.wordpress.com/2011/09/25/sculpture-and-visits/

Lots of work has been done since then, and a hand and face is emerging, which you will find here:  http://huttsatwork.wordpress.com/2011/11/28/hand-and-face/

Well worth a visit.

I can only hope it will be visible from the moon. Just think of all the controversy about the possibility of intelligent life on Earth it will generate in the lunatic community.
