Why do I keep falling asleep?

I had five separate naps yesterday, ensuring that anything worth watching on TV passed me by.

I did manage to get out in the garden on Friday afternoon to dig up some beetroot and trim the lavender hedge – not before time. If left too long the bushes get very spindly and woody.  The problem is that they have been continuously in flower since early summer and I am reluctant to deprive the bees and butterflies of their food source. They are still about because of the mild sunny weather we’ve been enjoying.

Very nice pictures of the bees!! Maybe your body just needs some added sleep and that’s why you’ve been napping a bit? Hope your Sunday is a lovely one!

I love the bee pictures. And I am envious of your camera with such capabilities. Of course the photographer had a lot to do with the nice pictures as well. 🙂
No answer from here on the nap. I came in to take a nap and saw that you had peeked in on my blog. Thank you. I may not be much help on the nap situation as I run short on red blood cells, etc, and also sodium and potassium and a few others.

It’s a pretty run of the mill supermarket Olympus, but it has a super-macro button for close-ups, and my grandson gave me a tutorial on fiddling with the photos once downloaded onto the computer. My main task is usually getting the picture horizontal – they always seem to be wonky. I just struck lucky with these two

Anemia? A simple lab draw can determine that. Hopefully just a lazy day?
