Brenda’s Sunday Wordle

Brenda, bless her, has moved house to WordPresswhich makes life a lot easier!http://sundaywhirl.wordpress.com/

The allure of sleep is strange:
at night when in bed, it eludes me,
but when life is inspiring,
devious sleep is enchanting,
overwhelming me boldly,
thus missing the end of the story.

The best sleep one can enjoy is during a baseball game. I always have to ask what the ending score was.

Viv, I completely identify. I’ve fallen asleep so many times while reading or watching a television show. I’ve missed many an ending.

Well put, Viv! Sleep eludes me some nights and then I am miserable all day.

  8. Viv, I feel your relief at not having to use all the words. Was wondering where “torso” would fit in, hee hee. Very nice use of the words, and the whole sleep/dream conundrum… I can identify. I’m sure most of us can! Peace, Amy http://sharplittlepencil.wordpress.com/2011/06/13/quiet-house-riot/

Terrific use of the wordle, Viv. I have definitely been there. A good book, a TV show, even my own writing have often been interrupted by that dropoff into sleep. And it seems to get worse the older I get. 😉

It’s a conundrum, for certain. You hit a universal here, Viv, bravo! Like Susannah, I noticed how well this follows your previous piece.

Oh yes, I can identify too. If there is something I am REALLY interested in watching on TV, I easily fall asleep. At night, another story! Nice wordle. I enjoyed the words this week.

This follows on so nicely from your I Saw Sunday post. 🙂

I joined in again with the wordle this week but have only just discovered I don’t HAVE to use all of the words! Phew, that will make it easier next week.
