Situation Vacant for Carry on Tuesday

I don’t know where this one came from – it’s not exactly on prompt, which was to carry on from “You don’t know me but”  – maybe it will bring some applications  from people we don’t know…

Situation vacant

poet, m/f, age immaterial,
pay: negligible.

to put a glow on the humdrum,
romanticise the unexciting,
weave magical words
to convert boring
into  interesting.

Desired attributes:
sense of humour,
extensive vocabulary,
inexhaustible vitality.

  9. Excellent! The perfect job for you! As you say, the prompt seems to have escaped but it’s a lovely piece all the same!
