Good God, those animals are stunning. I love the water lily, but can’t get over that the animals are stitched, not painted.
And, as you update, I shall have to remember to stop by and look.
Lovely work–and some are so unusual. Tilly recommended I check out your site because I just posted some of my own quilt art pieces. You may want to take a look…
I have a friend who does quilting and am filled with admiration at what she achieves. Sadly I’m only good at sticking the needle in my finger!
Love that Impressionist block in the square-of-squares. All the rest, of course, but that one speaks to me. Just little squares: quilts are amazing.

Thank you Lorna. I left a message of admiration on your work.
These are beautiful Viv. I love the colours in the last quilt and the water lily is superb, not to mention the camel. Gorgeous
Oh my gosh Viv these are beautiful!
Are the pictures pastels or paint?. Spectacular!
Neither: needle and thread.
The camel is very unusual.
Not in this house! Jock has embroidered about 8 camel pictures, six of which are in the sitting room, either side of the chimney.
The Water Lily is gorgeous! I love it.
You are a woman with many wonderful talents! These are beautiful! (jealous a bit)
I love looking at these! I like the new ones.
