dVerse Poet’s Pub’s latest prompt is to combine mini poetry (up to Twitter length) with macro hyper-focussed photography. As you know, I write a great deal of haiga, which seems to fit the requirements. The other day, Celie at the Kitchen’s Garden posted some adorable pictures of her cow and orphan lamb. I couldn’t resist putting words to it, but they’re not as poetic as the picture! Hiccups in the process of adding words sent poetry packing.
Viv, this is gorgeous! 🙂
Sewing hems and things- I hate it!

This is so sweet. I agree, it could evolve into a wonderful story for little ones! Have at it!

This looks like it could be the cover of a children’s book! We are heading your way tomorrow. Will call and see if we can connect.

We’ll be here – though I’m allowed to drive now, so watch out for a fleeing prisoner!
It would make a great children’s book – though I think it should be Celie’s book!

Daisy shows an amazing interest in that lamb, even trots over to his pen if he cries.. The lamb weighs less than her hoof! Lovely wee poem Viv, I hope you get to sit out on your deck today .. c

I did – Jock put out the table etc and I sat in the sun sewing up hems to shorten trousers.- a job I loathe – made happy by the warmth and clear blue sky.
