Why don’t surgeons sew nowadays?
Ne bougez pas
If they are not deft
they shouldn’t be surgeons.
Ne bougez pas.
Or are they so lazy
they use staplers instead?
Ne bougez pas.
Staples might be quick to insert
but when they come out they hurt
like hell, and leave blobby marks in your skin..
Ne bougez pas.
Super bien, c’est finit.
I’m not complaining (much) – he did a fabulous job, even if it did take 3 hours. Removal torture scheduled for Friday.
Ne bougez pas: don’t move.
The stitches I had after my first Caesar were so tight, I still remember the pain of them being removed, 23 years later. The nurse admired my stitches and said Dr Faktor was the best stitcher she knew; my scar would be minute. And it is!
Hope it’s not too terrible for you.

They used a glue on my next door neighbours head last week when he had a fall – my son had stiches for a similar injury a few years ago and had to suffer multiple injections to numb the area before they started stitching. Glue must be the way to go but maybe it depends on the nature of the injury.
Remember, Mum, it will be all worth while when you don’t have to lie in bed while those blood pressure lowering drugs mess up you heart beat. Good luck on Friday. S

Thanks love. Maria assures me that it doesn’t hurt to have the staples out, but I had them last time they operated and I know different! Yes, iot’s good to have a little energy.
