Monday

To those in work
Monday comes far too soon
Back to the grind

To new lovers
Monday brings excitement
anticipation

 To the retired
Monday is like every day
a day to enjoy

To those in pain
Monday is another day
to endure

for One Single Impression

Nice write, Viv ~~ I fit the retired sort of. But blogging, golf, old Fords, dominoes and church vary my days to some extent.

    Monday’s come. Mondays are.
We plan for them but can’t
    really know what Monday
will be. No, none of them
    until after the fact.
    Mondays are. Mondays were.

  7. How true and simple. One’s perspective can change the meaning of a day completely.

  8. I like how this suite of haiku and senryu is able to explore so much. Monday means so many things to different people, and I like that about this. Happy Monday! :)

Oh dear, this is sad really. Living the day is an art one must learn so that there are no conditions and Monday is just another day to be enjoyed.
