Beautiful photo ~ it’s simply gorgeous where you live! Happy 6WS!
Great picture — love to see the shape of bare trees.
*hugs*
Well, there’s a new word for me! And a new concept. It sounds practical and looks quite attractive.
I love trees
Those are interesting trees…nice angle, too!
It’s very steep from our house up to the village.
Pretty village. I would love to see those trees in the summer.
A great picture! Makes me want to visit.
What cool trees!
Reminds me of the Beatles singing here comes the sun.
And for the first time in weeks, the sun has been out all day – cold but beautiful.
You could tell how crisp and cold it must be by how brightly blue the sky is; lovely picture of the village. Stay warm!
What a beautiful post! Thanks!
You’re getting awfully clever, Mrs. Blake! How do you get the writing on the photo? You’ll have some great tips to share when we meet. Take care.
Open the picture in Paint, and re-size so that you can see all of it in the frame. Click on the text icon (A) then use your mouse to outline the area where you want the words to appear. Choose font and size – you need a large size, eg 22 point, and get typing.
don’t move outside the box until you’re sure it’s correct, Then you can click elsewhere on the picture and your words are fixed. It’s usually better to fix ‘transparent background,’. and to choose a strongly contrasting colour for the words. All this is up in the bar at the top of the page. Go play!
So pretty.
We have bright sun, too
Unfamiliar with these, Viv; thanks. Nice to see bare ground. We have a foot or more of snow, temps in the teen below zero F. Oh, I could use some tamer weather.
After I posted this, I got up, to find the garden covered with snow. It’s all gone now, however – from freezing to plus 6 Celsius in an hour. And the sun is shining enough to blind me!
Still enjoying your freedom?
so far. But there was snow everywhere when I got up, so I’ve put the crampons on my lovely new welly boots.
A lovely looking village.
